Adult Faith Sessions
Adult small faith sharing groups study and reflect on the Scriptures, our faith and Church teachings using Catholic based study programs. In-depth study results in renewed prayerfulness, a deeper understanding of God's Word and His Church and builds community.
Catechists are needed to share their gift of faith with the children of our parish (kindergarten through 5th grade) during the school year for Sunday Catechism. Classes meet on Sundays, from 9:15-10:15 a.m. Background screening and Safe Environment training is required.
Children's Liturgy of the Word
The ministry assists with our young children (4 years through 4th grade) during the school year at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass, explaining the Gospel in ways they are able to understand. Lesson preparation is provided in advance.
Adult Core Team for High School & Middle School Youth
Adult volunteers assist the Youth Ministry Coordinator in hosting various events, leading small groups or chaperoning on trips. Classes meet on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. Background screening and Safe Environment training is required. Assistance is also welcomed from those who would like to serve our youth by preparing a meal.
RCIA is a process for adults who are not baptized or baptized in another faith tradition and seek to be received into the Catholic Church. Team members can function as prayer partners or catechists or sponsors for catechumens and candidates in the RCIA program.
Small groups (women, men, singles and couples) build authentic relationships rooted in a growing relationship with Jesus. Each group meets off the parish campus to pray, discuss and reflect on God’s Word in the context of the issues and challenges of their daily lives. Convenient times and locations to meet are coordinated based on the needs of those interested.
Teen Aide Brigade
This ministry is specifically for high school youth to serve, with an adult, as an aide in faith formation in K-5, Children’s Liturgy, or the nursery. Share your love of Christ with our youngest members.
Support for Faith Formation Provide support to the various Faith Formation activities including items such as preparing materials for Sunday Catechism classes and Children’s Liturgy of the Word, creating scenery for VBS, assisting with receptions, and other projects.
Vacation Bible School
This exciting one-week summer program teaches children about Christ, the Bible and our Catholic faith. Daily activities include music, crafts, games, Bible stories, and snacks. Group leaders accompany students through each day’s activities.
Young Adult Ministry
We seek to connect young adults (18-30+ single, married, married with children) to a vibrant life within the parish and beyond. We seek to build a sense of community through social, spiritual, and service opportunities. We challenge each other to nurture, enhance, and transform our personal life into a life more fully alive in Christ!
