Eucharistic Adoration is a unique opportunity to pray before the very Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord, exposed in the monstrance. It is a ministry that will not only transform you, but will help transform the parish. How to spend an hour with Jesus is a personal preference, but it might include praying the rosary, reading Scripture, engaging in good spiritual reading and other forms of prayer. Perhaps the best way to spend time with Jesus is in silence.
Scheduled Adorers make a commitment to spend one hour in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament on the first Thursday of each month (the same hour on the same day of the week).
Hours of Adoration: 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Elijah Cup Praying for vocations to the priesthood is the most powerful way to support vocations. The Elijah Cup is a consecrated chalice used at Mass. At the end of Mass, the chalice is presented to a family or an individual who will take the cup home, put it in a place of honor, and use it as a focal point for prayer for vocations.
Prayer Chain Members serve God and St. Peter Parish while praying from home. The prayer chain is dedicated to prayerful action of the needs of the congregation, community and world. Members pray privately each day for requests that are either phoned or emailed. All requests are kept confidential.
